OUR STORY
THRIVE was born out of pure love for students and teaching. After 12 years in the classroom, I am excited about the impact I am having on students, while also frustrated that I was not given more guidance early on in my career. If we know what helps teachers be more effective, why are we not being more purposeful in our support? THRIVE was born out of the desire to help new teachers be as successful as possible-- as quickly as possible. THRIVE brings clear and purposeful support to new teachers in order to increase student achievement and teacher retention.

ABOUT ME
Professionally, I am a teacher, a leader, a learner, and a supporter. I have been teaching for 12 years and mentoring new teachers for 4 years. I teach high school social studies and have coached/advised over 10 extracurricular activities. Throughout my career, I have earned my National Board Certification, my Masters in History, and I am currently finishing my Doctorate of Education. I aspire to share my passion for students with new educators in order to affect broader change. I love students and think there is no better career out there!
Personally, I am a partner, mother, daughter, friend, and adventurer. I love the outdoors, sports, and experiencing new things.
